Welcome to the official blog for The Pet
Spa. Here you will find information
about The Pet Spa and its locations, profiles on our stylists, staff and staff
dogs as well as top grooming tips for keeping your dog in pristine condition
between your regular grooming salon visits.
The Pet Spa also offers a wide variety of
other treatments outside of grooming, which we will explore in more detail in successive blog posts.
At its currently solo location within
Harrods in Knightsbridge, The Pet Spa opened its doors to a variety of four
legged friends in October 2010. Since then we have been catering to a wide
variety of clientele.
Though are most predominate client is currently of the canine variety,
we also cater regularly to cats, guinea pigs, hamsters and rabbits. We’ve even been known
to see the odd tortoise lumber over our threshold to have his shell buffed to a
high sheen.
The Pet Spa is the ultimate in luxury pet
care. Our highly trained staff are experts in their fields. Our award winning
stylists have been sourced from around the country. They actively take part in
competitive grooming to both maintain and improve their craft. They regularly
attend seminars and festivals within the grooming world and are forever
striving to learn more from others in the profession.
The Pet Spa was established to cater to
anyone who knows what it’s like to be pampered and wishes to do the same for
their pet. And let’s face it, who doesn’t like a bit of TLC? Our Full Body Groom
price comes in at an accessable £85, catering for all walks of life who want to
give their pet the best in grooming. We have a variety of spa packages to suit
the discerning dog as well as fitness training, massage and Reiki.

to offer it at The Pet Spa.
Coming up to our second anniversary, we’re
proud to have a strong base of regular customers. It’s a pleasure see both dog
and owners on a regular basis and get to know them as time goes on. Building a
relationship between dog, owner and groomer is incredibly important so that not
only is the dog happy to come into the salon and see you, but that you, as the
owner, are happy to leave your pet with us. We are all pet owners and lovers ourselves, which leaves us with a high level of sensitivity towards those leaving their pet in our care.

All staff have experience from the very
young pup, brand new to his or her surroundings all the way through to the
pensioner pet who requires that extra gentle handling and perhaps a few breaks
in between his or her treatments to make sure they remain comfortable throughout
their treatment. We see grooming as an individual practice to each individual
pet, which is why we are vigilant in our first visit consultations with pet and
owner to ensure we learn all we can about you and your dog and ensure we can
make your dog as comfortable as possible during his or her visit with us and
any subsequent visits.
